You will love our "cotton like feel" polyester shirts. They are not the silky, sports type polyester shirts. Polyester has gotten a bad rap when it comes but these shirts are not the polyester of the 70's. Polyester is much more stain resistant, keeps you cool and wrinkles much less than cotton.
The reason we use polyester shirts is because our printing process uses dye sublimation. Our images will never fade, crack or peel from your shirt. It's not paint, like in screen printing and not vinyl like is used with an iron on process. Dye sublimation is completely different. Screen printing starts with wet paint and then dries to the fabric. Vinyl application takes a solid vinyl, heats it and then it sticks to the fabric. Dye sublimation uses the science of sublimation, in which heat and pressure are applied to a solid, turning it into a gas through an endothermic reaction without passing through the liquid phase. The end result of the sublimation process is a nearly permanent, high resolution, full color print. Because the dyes are infused into the substrate at the molecular level, rather than applied at a topical level (such as with screen printing and vinyl printing), the prints will not crack, fade or peel from the fabric under normal conditions.
Many people are trying dye sublimation as potential business or hobby. You can get into this business for several hundred dollars by using cheap machines made in China or you can pay thousands and purchase all US made machines like I did. I purchased the best of the best machines because this is my career and not a hobby. I also wanted to buy machines made in the US. There are many benefits to this because the patriotic one. Buying machines made in the US means that if you have a machine malfunction you can early get parts, and customer services is just a call away.
